Hi. I’m Emily Taylor, and I’d like to be your stylist.
As a stylist, Emily looks to create real connections with her clients. This isn’t about putting you in the trendiest look on the street, or making you look a certain way. It’s about improving your relationship with your body (and your closet) by making your feel good about how you adorn it.
As a fat/curvy/plus size woman, Emily is used to living in a world that constantly tells you to hide yourself. Her love of personal style comes out of pushing back against that notion. It can be a daily battle to feel good about our bodies and minds, and she likes to think of clothing as the armor we need to protect ourselves.
Emily has degrees in Art History and Gastronomy. Her education has all been in exploration of the way that we interact with visual culture - the way it makes us feel and think. She has years (years!) of retail experience, and even more experience in finding a way to make style reflect the inner self.
